Day 1: Running Forms Applications and Exploring the Forms Builder Interface
- Launch and navigate a running Oracle Forms application
- Understand data elements and transaction behavior
- Perform CRUD operations and display system messages
- Explore Forms Builder 11g features and module hierarchy
Day 2: Building Basic Form Modules and Master-Detail Relationships
- Create form modules and data blocks using templates
- Compile and deploy modules in Fusion Middleware 11g
- Design master-detail relationships and customize layout
- Define environment variables and module formats
Day 3: Managing Data Blocks, Frames, and User Input Items
- Modify visual attributes of frames and data blocks
- Configure text items, check boxes, radio groups, list items
- Use property palettes for layout and validation
- Add non-input controls like push buttons and image items
Day 4: Triggers, Messages, and Item-Level Functionality
- Write and debug triggers using PL/SQL editor
- Use Forms built-ins and handle system errors
- Configure LOVs, editors, and record groups for data selection
- Create runtime messages and validation feedback
Day 5: Query Processing, Navigation, Transaction Control, and WebUtil Integration
- Customize SELECT logic with query triggers and ONETIME_WHERE
