This 1-day PMI-RMP® certification training is designed for experienced project professionals and PMP® credential holders who want to build expertise in risk identification, analysis, response, and monitoring. Course Outline

1 – Introduction to PMI Certification and Risk Management

  • Understand the PMI-RMP® certification path and PMP® alignment
  • Review the exam content outline and eligibility requirements
  • Explore course materials and the certification application process

2 – Domain I: Risk Strategy and Planning

  • Assess project environments and define stakeholder risk thresholds
  • Document the risk management plan and critical success factors
  • Plan risk activities in alignment with project goals

3 – Domain II: Risk Identification

  • Facilitate risk identification exercises using project assumptions and constraints
  • Identify and document risk triggers and categories
  • Develop and maintain the project risk register

4 – Domain III: Risk Analysis

  • Perform qualitative risk analysis using probability-impact matrices
  • Apply quantitative risk analysis using simulation techniques
  • Evaluate threats and opportunities across cost, scope, and time

5 – Domain IV: Plan Risk Responses

  • Plan and document risk response strategies
  • Assign risk owners and define mitigation and contingency plans
  • Integrate responses into program and portfolio management frameworks

6 – Domain V: Monitor and Close Risks

  • Monitor residual and secondary risks using performance data
  • Update project documentation and risk registers
  • Report risk trends to stakeholders and adjust response strategies

7 – Exam Prep and Final Review

  • Take a full-length PMI-RMP® practice exam
  • Review study guide topics and key areas from the PMBOK® Guide
  • Get final tips for passing the certification exam and scheduling with PMI®
