Course Overview

Communicating effectively with a variety of people is essential, but this core skill is often neglected. Learning to recognize people’s natural behavioral styles will help you meet priorities by communicating in ways that meet people’s needs and work preferences. 

Watermark Learning and TRACOM have come together to offer the Understanding Behavior Using  SOCIAL STYLE® course, which is a highly engaging program covering the impact behaviors have on relationships through the use of interactive exercises. It includes TRACOM's multi-rater SOCIAL STYLE Assessment and Profile Report for each learner.

This course will earn you 6.5 PDUs | 6.5 CDUs

Course Objectives

    • Determine the SOCIAL STYLEs of your co-workers 
    • Recognize each Style’s needs and work preferences 
    • Act on feedback about your own Style and growth needs 
    • Practice communication strategies that appeal to people of each Style 
    • Leverage Versatility, the ability to adjust behavior to meet people’s Style needs

  • Meeting Style needs 
  • Develop awareness of your growth action 

SOCIAL STYLE Profile 

  • Receive a profile describing your Style, as seen by your co-workers. 
  • Recognize your strengths and growth actions 

Managing Stress and Backup Behavior 

  • Recognize your own stressors and backup behavior 
  • Understand others’ stressors and how to help during stressful times 

Act with Versatility 

  • Learn about the sources of Versatility 
  • Learn how to use Versatility when interacting with people of each Style 

Versatility Profile and Action Plan 

  • Receive a profile that describes your Versatility, as seen by your co-workers 
  • Develop an action plan to work more effectively with your most challenging work relationships
