Course Overview
Collaboration Application Security Concepts (CLCASC) is proposed as a five-day course consisting of lectures and hands-on lab exercises. The course is intended to provide advanced training for tier 2 and 3 technical personnel. The focus of this course will be understanding Cisco’s Unified Communications products and how to implement security for them.

Course Objectives
Topics will include portions of Cisco’s CLFNDU course, giving an overview of the initial setup and configuration of CUCM and portions of Cisco’s CLACE class, giving an overview of the initial setup and configuration of the Instant Messaging and Presence (IM & P) server and the Unity Connection (CUCxn) server. Portions of Cisco’s CLCNF course will also be included to provide an overview of the Cisco Meeting Server (CMS). The labs will use CUCM version 14.0 but the concepts apply to versions 11.x and 12.x as well.
